If we were to list the five most important watch designs of the past century, Gérald Genta would definitely be among them. Although he is famous for designing iconic timepieces for other brands, Gérald Genta also founded his eponymous brand in 1969 and presented his most creative design works, combining wild aesthetics with outstanding complications. The octagonal case of the watch we are sharing today immediately reveals Gérald Genta 's classic aesthetic style. With an elegant dress size of 34mm, the watch features a layered bezel in yellow gold and platinum, and an elegant pattern engraved on the dark blue dial, reminiscent of the cracks produced by aged acrylic crystals. The dial has four sub-dials, with the moon phase displayed at the 12 o'clock position adorned with lapis lazuli, and the month, date, and day displayed at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions respectively. Surprisingly, it is also a perpetual calendar watch, although it lacks a leap year indication. The interesting movement of this watch is composed of the Frederic Piguet 71 caliber with an ETA module. The watch we are sharing today is in its original condition, unpolished, and the movement has been meticulously maintained by our workshop, ensuring its good timekeeping condition. It is a collectible treasure that should not be missed.
