Introduction: Patrick Ritschel, the current Chief Complications Watchmaker at A. Lange & Söhne, deals with various top-tier complex timepieces every day, but he himself is a devoted fan of NOMOS and enjoys collecting NOMOS Tangente watches. Watch industry expert Philippe Dufour also mentioned NOMOS as one of his currently most admired watch brand, as the brand incorporates Bauhaus style into its watchmaking essence.
NOMOS was born in 1990 after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Its founder was an IT expert with no prior experience in watchmaking. From zero until now, the brand has been independently operated. While other watch brands of the same level were still using externally sourced movements and simple finishing techniques, NOMOS had already achieved complete in-house research, development, and manufacturing, and it solely focuses on mechanical watches. Currently, the brand has 11 in-house calibers, and in 2018, NOMOS received the Challenge Prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG).
Today, we are sharing the Tangente Super 30, one of NOMOS' 100 limited edition pieces. The blueberry purple dial of this watch is exceptionally rare, and its 35mm size makes it suitable for both men and women. With an in-house manual winding movement, the watch guarantees precision. It comes with the original box, certificate, and complete sales records. We have carefully selected a Tiffany blue litchi grain strap to complement the dial's markings. This watch was fully serviced by our workshop in September 2023 and comes with a 12-month quality guarantee.
