To this day, the JLC Reverso remains one of the most classic square watches, serving as a symbol of Jaeger-LeCoultre since its debut in 1930. The original Reverso was not reversible; it was initially designed with one side in metal to protect the watch during polo matches. When JLC truly revived the Reverso line, they started utilizing the other side fully, giving the watch dual functionality. This Reverso Duoface GMT features different dial designs on each side - the front displays a silver guilloché dial with Arabic numerals and a small seconds sub-dial for local time, while the back showcases a deep grey dial for the second time zone, with a day/night indicator in a 12-hour format. The Cal.986 movement powers both sides, and despite having two faces, it maintains a thickness of only 10.5mm, making it comfortable for wrists over 16mm.
