The Overseas series is a watch launched by VC in 1996, based on the classic 222 model, combining sports and formal wear. The first generation of the Overseas features a barrel-shaped case with a protruding bezel design to echo the Maltese cross emblem. In 2004, the Overseas series underwent a comprehensive upgrade, featuring a more modern design, especially with the new Maltese cross-inspired strap, becoming a favorite for many men.

The watch being shared today is the formal second generation Overseas: 47040. With a case size of 42mm, it is more masculine than the previous 37mm model. The elegantly skeletonized silver dial features index markers at 3, 6, 9, and 12 positions, with raised index indicators for other hours, significantly enhancing readability. The most irresistible feature remains its Maltese cross-shaped bracelet, a timeless design. Despite the recent price strength of steel watches, the second generation Overseas offers excellent value for money. The 47040 being shared today has just undergone maintenance at our workshop, ensuring precise timekeeping and excellent condition. This watch is a standalone piece and is priced attractively!
