Ref. 4936 holds an important place in Patek Philippe's history as the brand's first annual calendar wristwatch specifically designed for women.

Crafted in 18K rose gold, it features a warm white mother-of-pearl dial, complemented by a bezel set with 156 diamonds in two rows and a crown adorned with 14 diamonds. Beneath its elegant appearance lies the sophisticated mechanical character expected of a Patek Philippe complicated timepiece.

The dial displays day, month, date and moon phases, powered by Patek Philippe's patented annual calendar mechanism introduced in 1996. The mechanism automatically recognizes the different lengths of 30- and 31-day months, requiring manual adjustment only once a year, from February to March.

Measuring 37 mm, the Ref. 4936 shares the same case diameter as Patek Philippe's first annual calendar wristwatch, the Ref. 5035. Its generous proportions give it a strong wrist presence while maintaining an elegant feminine character.

The watch is powered by the Caliber 324 S QA LU automatic movement, featuring a 21K gold central rotor. Through the sapphire crystal caseback, the movement's Geneva striping, fine anglage and intricate construction can be clearly admired.
